Val Ahern's world is rocked once again when a stranger turns up on her doorstep an introduces himself as Denis's son.

Val and her three daughters are stunned to see `Liar" scrawled in lipstick across the mirror. meaning someone is clearly out to get her.

As the Aherns prepare for Calum's birthday celebrations, they struggle to maintain a semblance of normality as the campaign of terror against the family escalates.

In the aftermath of the birthday party, the family is in disarray. Elaine insists she has been set up but fingers are being pointed in every direction.

Val tries to figure out who she can trust and how she can protect her family from danger, while Finn agrees to help Elaine convince Calum her drink was spiked the day of the crash.
