Eileen hopes to bring a little Sunday tradition to the street. Shane's depression has dire consequences for Daphne. He feels bad for her and decides to break off their engagement,

Eileen fancies herself as the new Pavarotti, and a surprise visitor turns up at the Ramsay's. Daphne tries hard to reassure Shane, but her lack of confidence in him deepens. Jim and Zoe's weekend is a disaster.

Madge has a great deal more than the pancake competition on her mind. Fred and Madge do not reach an agreement upon their financial settlement,

Des and Daphne share an intimate dinner. Mrs Mangel succeeds in preventing Helen from winning the prize in the pancake contest.

Daphne shows Shane the door when he attempts to justify his behavior. Tom is furious and Shane decides to call off the engagement. Eileen tries to reunite Des and Daphne. First appearance of Tom Ramsay.

Mrs Mangel is put through the wringer. Clive finds an office job for Madge, but her first morning is a disaster.

A new client helps Shane get over losing Daphne. Madge realises that she and Shane have had a bad education and that that this is the source of all their troubles.

Daphne is hurt that Shane has recovered so quickly after the break-up of their engagement.

Madge is delighted to discover that she has a secret admirer.

Des hires Clive's services when he decides to go courting. Helen catches Debra kissing Shane. Jim continues to protect his relationship with Zoe while he can.

Des helps Daphne move into the coffee shop. Clive tries to convince Des that if he wants to win over Daphne, he will have to be more assertive.

Andrea gets a job and Paul gets caught out. The conflict between Paul, Helen and the Flemings gets so bad that Paul refuses to do business with them.

Zoe gets a threatening letter and Scott gets closer to Charlene. The way Debra has treated him hurts Shane. He starts to drink a bit to much and seeks consolation with Paul.

Jim has some important news. Clive's attempts to reconcile Des and Daphne do not come to fruition.Daphne is shocked by Des's lack of romanticism.

Madge and Charlene are finding it hard to get on with each other. Danny, jealous of the friendship between Tom and Mike, suceeds in convincing Tom to give him golf lessons. Lucy is recovering in hospital after the telephone incident.

Jim is worried about Lucy and gets angry when he finds out what happened. Zoe considers ending her relationship with Jim after he blames her for Lucy's predicament.

Zoe finally realizes that her relationship with Jim is over. Everyone at the Robinson house is pleased to learn that Lucy will fully recover.

Jim tries to come to terms with losing Zoe. Tom continues to train Mike. Danny and Shane are fed up with hearing about his achievements.

Clive offers Charlene some advice. Scott arranges a hotel room for himself and Charlene.

Scott abandons Charlene after she confesses that he isn't the first man in her life.

Charlene moves back into the Ramsay household. Scott and Charlene are banned from seeing each other. Clive feels ill after eating too much.

Charlene is shattered when she hears that her father does not want her to come home. Charlene and Scott attempt to sort out their differences,

Shane makes a fateful decision after being influenced by Tom's enthusiasm for Mike's diving activities. Charlene is concerned by her father's confession that he does not want her back with him. Tom renews his efforts to find Madge a husband.

To the great relief of Tom, Shane succeeds in performing a flawless dive. Jack takes it upon himself to discipline Bradly.

Des almost knocks Daphne over in his car. Andrea has to choose between Bradley and Jack.

Tom falls in love with his teacher, Jean, Nikki prepares for her date. Zoe returns home.

Zoe returns with a secret. Nikki goes on her date with Grant Kenny,

Bradley doesn't like the relationship between his Mum and Jack nor between Des and Daphne, He thinks no one is devoting enough time to him. Bradley and Lucy announce their engagement. Is Zoe pregnant?

Zoe is rushed into hospital after she faints.

Nikki is flattered by Mike's efforts to defend her, While collecting money for charity, Mike, Nikki, Scott and Charlene are shocked by Mrs York's strange attitude. Des takes a stand to win Daphne.

Des proposes to Daphne, Lucy and Bradley make up and renew their engagement. Clive launches a new scheme.

Des offers the use of Eileen's house to Andrea. Jack and Andrea get engaged.

Madge is shocked when she learns of Mrs York's disastrous financial situation, Bradley has mixed reactions to his mothers engagement.

With Jack's approval Clive decides to organise a sale of his items in front of the coffee shop. Mrs Mangel is outraged and calls the police. Jack considers selling Lassiters.

Jack decides to sell the complex to Paul. Helen and Madge grow increasingly concerned for Mrs York.

Clive and Helen break into Mrs York's house and find her unconscious on the floor. Jack delays selling the complex to Paul, Zoe is discharged from Hospital.

Mrs York is very touched by the kindness shown by her neighbours, but after being discharged; Madge and Clive find that she has passed away, Andrea, Bradley and Jack depart on their European trip.

Debra tries to cause trouble between Paul and Shane, Paul loses his temper with Shane after a disaster at Lassiters.

Mrs York's funeral takes place and darkens the atmosphere. Fred wants Madge back . The conflict between Nikki and Mike worsens. Paul hires a private detective to help catch his spy.

Helen returns home with bad news about Laura's health. Madge is persuaded to accept Fred's dinner invitation. Mike rescues a surfer from the sea.

Nikki leaves Ramsay Street to join her sick mother in Charleville. Mike can't resist Cassie's charms. Mrs York's dog sadly passes away, Helen consoles Lucy. Charlene runs away to join Scott.

Mike skips his training session and makes a surprise discovery about his girlfriend. Zoe returns to work. Paul gives Shane his job back.

Jean takes Tom to the hospital to meet her husband. Mike and Cassie argue over her career.

Jean chooses her husband over Tom. Mike and Scott get kicked off the dive team. Charlene agrees to get some photos taken, unaware of what she has agreed to.

Mike breaks up with Cassie. Scott, Charlene and Mike decide to return home. Daphne wrongly believes that Des has broken his arm.

Shane finds himself in big trouble after the accident, and Zoe and Tony's romance blossoms.

Jim receives a phone call from Rosemary. Clive's family arrive. Des and Daphne enjoy their honeymoon,

Des' injury forces him and Daphne to return from their honeymoon early. Mike moves out of Clive's house. Paul gets jealous of Zoe's date.

Shane continues his search for the witness. Zoe gets angry at Paul but later makes up with him. Des and Daphne return home, Des has injured his back.

Shane considers escaping from his problems. Clive clashes with with his brother. N.B Charlene added to credits, Max, Danny and Zoe removed.

Graham apologises to Clive after he finds out the reason he gave up being a doctor. Madge and Charlene clash again. Shane struggles when he returns to driving.

Shane worries over the threat of prison, and quits being a chauffeur. Graham and Clive establish a much better relationship.

Mike moves out for a few days so that Des and Daphne can enjoy their honeymoon. Shane finds his witness.

Alex clears Shane of drink driving.

Lucy witnesses a break-in. Charlene becomes a reluctant babysitter.

Des and Daphne are horrified when Eileen says that she wants to move in with them. Clive gets a surprise visitor.

Daphne is still in bed ill and everyone is worried. Mike is speechless with Jane’s new look. They all head off to the dance but everything does not go as planned and Jane runs off.

Scott and Charlene are home from the dance early and tell Sue that Mike walked home alone. Daphne is not eating and Des is concerned that she also might be pregnant. Meanwhile Paul has plans for Patty to stay longer and invites her out to dinner.

Daphne's condition worsens and she is taken to hospital, in serious condition. Madge struggles to adapt to new technology.

As Daphne hovers between life and death, Clive face a crisis of confidence in his medical ability. Madge gets a surprise visitor.

Scott, Charlene, Mike and Jane confront Sue about the letters, resulting in Sue getting punched. Madge is shocked after finding out about her parents marriage.

Bill Parker threatens to sue Mike, Scott, Charlene and Jane because of what happened to his daughter, Sue. Clive's latest plan ends in a proposal.

Edna and Dan decide to tie the knot after 50 years. Rosemary lands Paul a new business deal.

Paul's new new business deal means a major upheaval for Ramsay Street, Scott comes up with a plan to make money.

Dan and Edna get married. Jim and Ruth find they have a lot in common. Mike and Scott start writing a pop song.

Madge keeps her job, and is later offered a new role. Jane is upset by the way Mike is treating her, leading to a confrontation. Hilda's secret is discovered, costing her her job and a trip to the Police.

Mike sets Nikki straight about their relationship. Mrs Mangel offers her services as a house keeper. Madge accepts Paul's job offer.

An old friend of Helen comes for a visit. Madge leaves for her training course.

Laura argues with Nikki after experiencing a little pain during a jog. Helen is concerned about a note found at her husbands grave.

Helen discovers a well kept secret which causes her to break off links with Laura. Scott and Charlene organise a cricket match for charity.

Helen makes amends with Laura, then invites her to visit Rosemary in the States with her. The charity cricket match takes place.

Charlene wants to have fun whilst her Mum is away. Des is not happy with Philip staying.

Nikki and Laura finally sort out their relationship. Clive returns from his Grandfathers funeral

Paul disapproves of Clive's plan to trick his Uncle Ted by pretending to be the perfect example of a successful married man.

Shane and Scott are concerned by Charlene's drinking. Uncle Ted stays longer than expected, which means that Clive and Sue must continue pretending to be the perfect couple.

Paul's relationship with Sue is turned upside down when he receives an unexpected letter from his ex-wife, Terri, but he tears it up before reading it.

Ted confronts Clive about his 'unfaithful Wife' after he sees Paul kissing Susan, causing Clive to confess the truth to him. Ted decides to leave and visit his brother. Paul gets a phone call from prison.

Charlene is led astray by Warren. Paul decides to visit Terri in hospital, and hears some shocking news.

Ray blames Charlene when Warren ends up in hospital. By spreading a false rumour about Warren and Charlene, Sue succeeds in making Scott jealous.

Ray and Charlene go to the hospital where Warren tells them what has happened. Charlene feels the whole world is against her.

Charlene anxiously awaits the return of her mother and decides to run away to avoid facing the consequences of her actions.

Lucy is ill so Jim allows her to take the day off, though Scott believes she is faking her illness. Lucy tries to rescue a Cat whilst walking to the coffee shop.

Madge and Ray come to an understanding, Lucy is trapped.

Lucy is found, but has lost her sight, Scott is stressed about the exams.

Paul and Jim attend Terri's funeral. Lucy remains in hospital.
