Love Like the Galaxy - Season 1

General, Ling Buyi was victorious, and all the civil and military officials greeted him because of the victory of the war. After receiving the honour, he declined the invitation of accompanying the emperor for dinner and went to Chengjia Village to arrest the suspect.

When Mrs. Cheng learned that her younger brother was arrested, she scolded Cheng Shaoshang for being unfilial. Cheng Shi and his wife supported their daughter. The two recalled that when their daughter was born, she was forced to stay at home with her grandmother due to a fortune-teller.

Uncle Dong was assigned to the frontier, and Cheng Shaoshang was successful in assisting in handling the case so Ling Buyi allowed her family to bid farewell to Uncle Dong.

Madam Ge vents all her anger on her husband who is disabled and was smashed by his elder sister-in-law, Xiao Yuanyi. Xiao Yuanyi stood up for the uncle and exposed what Madam Ge had done over the years.

The Cheng family moved into a new house, and the family was very happy. Cheng Shaoshang set up his own small courtyard and even started to make own furniture by herself. However her mother think she was addicted to entertainment.

Cheng Yang and Mrs. Fu insisted that Lian Fang wanted to grab Cheng Yang's writing desk, and then fought with Chang Pu. Cheng Shaoshang confronted with Mrs. Fu and Changpu. Finally they found out the truth.

In order to humiliate Cheng Shaoshang, Wang Ling deliberately left an invitation card for the birthday banquet of Yuchang, hoping that Shaoshang would attend. When Shao Shang was choosing gifts for her, she was stopped by Yuan Shen again. Because she didn't want to be entangled by Yuan Shen, she had to promise to speak for Yuan Shen again.

When Cheng Shaoshang left, she heard Cheng Yang crying for help so she rushed to rescue her. But Shaoshang was trapped by Wang Ling. It turned out that Wang Ling wanted to play trick on Cheng Shaoshang.

Cheng Shaoshang was having a great time with Qiqi. She's interested in architecture and began to study the bridges at Wan's. When she got to know there'd be a birthday party coming soon, she came up with a plan.

Cheng Shaoshang got her chance to take a revenge, but her plan was already known by the Old Madam Wan. Old Madam Wan told Xiao Yuanyi about Shaoshang's revenge. Yuanyi decided to punish her.

When he set off, Cheng Shaoshang was blocked by Lou Yao. Lou Yao hesitantly said that he knew that Cheng Shaoshang did the demolition of the bridge, but he felt that Cheng Shaoshang did nothing wrong.

Ling Buyi rescues Shao Shang who was besieged by the bandits. Shao Shang goes to thank Ling Buyi, but finds that he was arguing with his subordinates...

Since the granddaughter of Mr. Cheng was seriously injured, Cheng Shaoshang and Lou Yao went to take care of her.

The granddaughter of Mr.Cheng was seriously ill and could not survive. Cheng Shaoshang felt guilt. Lou Yao confessed to Shaoshang, saying that Shaoshang was the most perfect and courageous girl he had ever seen.

Without mother's interruption, Shaoshang and Lou Yao were enjoying their time together. Shaoshang took Lou Yao to the countryside, where they found Huangfu Yi. Huangfu Yi got to know that Shaoshang's the niece of Sang Shunhua, and therefore took great care of her.

Ling Yi tried to persuade Ling Buyi to not interfere in Fan Chang's case. But Ling Buyi was not convinced. Later on, they heard about Fan Chang's prison break. Now Ling Buyi is in a big trouble.

Xiao Yuanyi was heartbroken because of her daughter's negative attitude towards marriage and love, and finally she fell ill.

When Cheng Shaoshang went back home with her mother, they met Ling Buyi. In order to ensure her safety, he escorts them to their home.

Cheng Shaoshang sneaked out to meet Ling Buyi. Buyi bid his farewell, saying that this could be the last time they meet. Shaosheng returned home sadly. Soon, Ling Buyi won the battle. He Zhaojun's father He Yong died in battle. He Yong's last wish was to resume the engagement of his daughter Zhaojun and Lou Yao.

The Cheng's and the Lou's are now in a dilemma. They can't decide whether to continue or to cancel their wedding. Shaoshang was furious that the Lou's would consider letting Lou Yao get married with He Zhaojun out of generosity. However, Yuan Shen explains to her that is was the only way to protect He's inheritance, and advised Shaoshang to understand the current situation.

Cheng Shaoshang burst into tears, she knows that she should choose to break off the engagement with Lou Yao because of her family. Therefore Shaoshang informs her parents that she is willing to do it.

Shaoshang is upset for the breaking engaement so she walked to the Yanhui Tower alone. However, she heard that someone decided to rebel.

Ling Buyi is happy that Shaoshang came to visit him but he is disappointed when he knows Shaoshang is coming with her father.

During the banquet, the princess is playing trick on Shaoshang intentionally. Fortunately, Ling Buyi stuck up for her and let her sit next to him.

Ling Buyi misunderstood Shaoshang who was still loving Lou Yao so he requested her to join Lou Yao's wedding with him. However, she was reluctant to join and also angry at him.

Shaoshang was out of sorts when they back home. Ling Buyi disturbed her to eat snack so she got angry with finally. He wanted to comfort her but he need to rush to Western Village therefore he asked Lord Ruyang to help giving betrothal gifts to Cheng family.

Ling Buyi requested Cheng's family to do exercise every morning for becoming stronger. However, Cheng Family thinks it was so harsh with them, especially Shaoshang. She slipped out quietly and asked Qiqi to drink.

The emperor thought Ling Buyi got hurt because of Shaoshang and therefore he summoned Shaoshang come to palace and also make a match for them.

Cheng Shaoshang is taught manners and etiquette by the queen and studied in the palace. The Queen also indulges Shaoshang to make her own invention. Therefore, Shaoshang thinks the Queen is gentler than her mother and likes getting along with her gradually.

Ling Buyi discovers that Shaoshang got hurt but she reluctant to tell him about it. Shaoshang expresses she will be his wife in the future and didn't rely on him mostly so she needs to adapt to live in the palace. Ling Buyi was touched and promised to take good care of her.

The Third Princess wanted to bully Shaoshang in the ceremony but she is trapped by Shaoshang finally. The Third Princess's dress is burnt during worship so the bright dress is revealed and then makes the Emperor angry.

Ling Buyi wonder why the Emperor's attitude changed and finally he found out that Shaoshang dealed with the matter. Ling Buyi reminds her not to step in the matter of the Prince but Shaoshang was unhappy with that.

When Shaoshang is talking about Ling Buyi with Wan Qiai and Yangyang, Shaoshang is contradicted as she appreciates his protection, but she dislikes to be restricted by him. After reminded by Qiai, Shaoshang figures out that Ling Buyi devotes a lot for her so she wants to apologize first.

In the countyard, Shaoshang and Ling Buyi are talking about his parents' past which made Shaoshang feels sorrow at him and also promise to treat him extremely well in the future.

Wang Ling goes to see her mother. However, Madam Wen Xiu has no regrets and does not care about Wang's family. Wang Ling feels disappointed and cuts off ties with her mother completely.

Fifth Princess feels jealous after knowing that the birthday banquet will be arranged by Shaoshang...

The Fifth Princess hold Shaoshang accountable for meeting with The Fifth Prince secretly but Shaoshang denied and insisted that she helped him when he was drowning. In order to helping Shaoshang, Ling Buyi let The Fifth Prince bring him to find the girls who tease Shaoshang.

The emperor punishes Ling Buyi who punished the official secretly. Shaoshang pleads him to forgive Ling Buyi but The Third Prince insists to punish Ling Buyi strictly.

The Emperor orders Ling Buyi to investigate the case related to the Crown Prince's old flame, Qu Ling Jun who was suspected that she might kill her husband. Shaoshang asks Ling Buyi for investigating the case with him.

Shaoshang is held by Liang Xia. While Ling Buyi saves her, Liang Xia's brother Liang Wuji killed him and claimed that he protected the reputation for his family so he killed his brother.

Ling Buyi requests to attack Shou Chun but the Emperor rejects him as he is worried about Ling Buyi. Shaoshang persuades the Emperor to let him go and she is waiting for him in the capital until he's back.

The officials impeaches Cheng Shi as he betrayed his country. His family is caught except Shaoshang. Shaoshang returns home and expresses that she will stand with her family, even if that means she will be sent to the jail too.

Shaoshang pretends to visit her family in the jail so she ask the Queen for the permission. Actually Shaoshang escaped from the palace. She said goodbye to the Queen and will not forget her favour.

Ling Buyi thought there was lots of doubt so he kept vigilance of the matter. Before meeting the subordinate of Yan Zhong, Ling Buyi discovered Shaoshang in the jail which is on fire.

Due to his merit, Lou Ben back to the Capital and is rewarded. Ling Buyi violated the command since he wanted to investigate the case at Tongniu County.

Shaoshang found Cheng Shi finally when she follow the clue of paint. Lou Ben didn't hurt her luckily. Ling Buyi and Shaoshang visited his mother, Huo Junhua who regarded him as a kid and feed him the cake.

Official Zuo blamed Ling Buyi for giving him the penalty illegally, also Ling Yi asked him not to interfere in the investigation. However, Shaoshang voiced out for Ling Buyi and suggested Wang Ling to counsel Peng Kun in the jail.

Cheng Shaoshang guessed Ling Buyi might be doomed in Marquis Chengyang's Residence so she wanted to rescue him. Xiao Yuanyi and Cheng Shi supported her with their warriors.

When Shaoshang arrived, she sees Ling Buyi killing Ling Yi. Ling Buyi apologises to her and expresses that there was no choice left for him.

The Emperor orders his soldiers to save Ling Buyi but the General Zuo interferes with the rescue. The Third Prince discovered and caught him finally.

Shaoshang let her brother give the letter to Ling Buyi and mentioned that they would never meet each other again. Also, she decided to live in Changqiu Palace. Xiao Yuanyi was upset about it and thought she lost her daughter.

Shaoshang has never left the palace for 5 years. Although Yuan Shen wanted to get married with Shaoshang, he never gave up, even he didn't have any feedback from her. The Queen was getting worse so The Emperor asked Ling Buyi to come back. However, when Shaoshang heard the news, she accepted to get married with Yuan Shen.

In order to visiting the doctor, Shaoshang followed Luo Jitong but she wanted to kill Shaoshang on the carriage. Ling Buyi arrived and saved Shaoshang from danger. Meanwhile, they received the news that The Queen was dying.

Shaoshang decided to bring The Queen's crown back to her homeland since it was her wish. Shaoshang's parents treated her so well and said they regreted to leave her when she was a baby. If they could choose again, they would bring her with them desperately.

Shaoshang realized the construction of the building so she found out the chamber of secrets, where she saw Yuan Shen trapped by Wang Yanji.

Shaoshang found out that Tian Shuo hid lots of fuels in the Guo Village. He not only wanted to kill the villagers, but also destory all harvest and crops in the village and people run out of the food.
