Paige has her entire future planned out; she is going to the best university in Canada, Banting, and she will live with Matt and everything will be perfect. That is until Matt comes back changed. Soon things go from bad to worse when Alex convinces her to get stoned with her. Meanwhile Jimmy is proud to be the new basketball coach but a new member, Derek., poses trouble.

JT and Liberty seem to have relationship issues and some are bigger than others. Meanwhile Spinner goes after Darcy and is not only attracted to her but also to her message.

J.T. is feeling alot of pressure with Liberty being six months pregnant and when they decide to tell her parents and rent an apartment for themselves, J.T. soon realizes he doesn't have enough money to take care of him , Liberty, and the baby. Jay then convinces him the real money maker lies behind the pharmacy counter. J.T. steals drugs from the Pharmacy and sells them to a drug dealer, earning alot of money. Meanwhile Emma goes on a date with Derek, only to be interested in Peter.

J.T. is now selling drugs and wants to quit, but the drug dealer won't let him, so J.T. is forced to steal again and soon J.T. loses the people he cares most about because of his drugs and lies. Meanwhile Snake isn't satisfied with how his life has been played out so far.

While helping a new a friend, Marco comes face to face with reality and has to make a big decision. Also, Emma is starting to like Peter which could damage her friendship with Manny.

The students of Degrassi come together, dealing with the events of last year and Spinner deals with his own demons. Meanwhile Jimmy has two new paths in life, which will he take?

On the season finale, it's the end of the year and questions that have been asked throughout the season get answered. Spinner confronts Jimmy and a conflict that's been going on for the whole season finally comes to an end. Paige is confused with what happened last night with Spinner. Darcy leaves Spinner a love note and he must decide if Darcy or Paige is the girl for him. Manny's end of the year play premieres and a character from the past makes a shocking reappearance for her class's graduation.
