911 is our go to guilty pleasure show. No one is watching this show for its realism. It is over the top most of the time, but really, that's what makes it fun. If you need to turn off your brain for 43 minutes, watch this.

Edited Review: OK, so I am going back and changing my review on this one. I ended my original review with "But I won't fault it for quality, what it does it does well. It's just what it does has been done a thousand times before." And that is a sentiment I held true when it came out, it did things well, but it was just like too many other shows that all had the same relative concept. Now, well, now it's starting to grow on me. The characters are developed out of the NCIS/Law and Order you can take one show, put the dialog into the other and the viewer won't really notice format. Which is great, the characters actually feel like characters. And the plot is becoming more and more outlandish and soap operaish in the best possible way. It's moved into pure entertainment. It's gone from been there don that to actually a fun show with characters I am invested in, and now I'm glad that my wife subjects me to it. So.... I'm keeping the original review here because, you know, show people how your mind can be change and all, and I am revising it. The first few seasons are a serious... meh, seen it before... but it's actually grown into something fun and watchable. It's shocking for something that I've seen so many times before. Original Review: My fiance watches it. I've seen it before. There is nothing particularly bad about it. The stories are well written. It's well acted. It can be engaging. But...I watched ER back in the 90s. I've seen Chicago Fire. I've seen Hill Street Blues. I've seen Law and Order. CHIPS, Baywatch, you name it. My issue with it is that it's just like so many other other dramas that I watched over the years that I can't really bring myself to care that much about it. But I won't fault it for quality, what it does it does well. It's just what it does has been done a thousand times before.
A series full of action, a series with many sensitive scenes that made me cry to live with the "9-1-1" team. A funny series but at the same time realistic and dramatic. Maybe what I'm saying doesn't make sense, but it's worth seeing. I recommend this series.
