Nhlanhla is a filmmaker who drifts between film, art, and music, building short pieces that lean on mood, visual intuition, and character. A painter and script-writer before anything else, he tends to treat each project like an experiment, sometimes minimal, sometimes strange, always personal. When he’s not making films, he’s sketching ideas, shaping stories, or messing around with sound, and occasionally releases music under the name Robbs Smithmother. Mostly he’s just chasing whatever feels honest and fun with the people around him.
